Help With my Jack Rusell Peeing on the carpet

Hi

Can anybody give me any advice please

We have a 7 month old (approx as she is a rescue dog) Female Jack Russell who at first was great and as we were told she was house trained but over the last few days she has started to urinate on our carpets? she was not doing this at first so i am a bit confused.
She is currently in season and i was wondering whether this has anything to do with it?

Can anyone help at all

Thanks

She could be scent marking because of her season or she could have a urine infection.
How long has she been in season?

Hi

She has been in season for around a week now,

Is this a likely cause then?

I have found my bitches would often pee the floor when in season . It would be worth having her tested for a urinary infection though just in case . When you go to the vet take a sample with you from first pee in the morning if possible

Not knowing her background, it is difficult to say, the most likely cause is a urine infection, which is easily cured, but you need to get to a vet before they close for Easter
How long have you had her?.

They wouldn't have known she might have a urine infection, it could have happened since then anyhow
