Lino?

my dogs have destroyed the lino in my kitchen how much do u rekon it would be to replace it its about 5mx4m.

It depends which style you go for. It's like carpet, in that you can get expensive and cheap !!

You'll have to take the measurements and shop around.

At the cheapest, I think 5m x 4m would be £150 ISH !!!

If you go down to a major carpet store, look in the corner of the shop for their offcuts you're bound to find a nice piece of lino in that size I'm sure.

Real lino isn't all that cheap, but it is a brilliant material - very tough indeed. The cheaper sorts of "lino" are often actually vinyl, which is less resilient, and outgases some pretty horrible chemicals. I know we'd be hard-pushed to seriously limit our chemical exposure, but I'd seriously think twice about having vinyl flooring in my house, especially if I had kids around.

Go for cushioned vinyl, we have the whole kitchen layed with it, and it's the non-slip type so the dogs can't loose their footing, total cost £90 for 5.5 x 4 meters.
