Just the usual for me today,chores

Washing pegged out to dry, more in the machine,been to the bookies with Luke to pick up his winning from the national,£4.88 LOL he's going to get rich on that
Popped in the co-op for some milk and spent £12 on other bits I didn't really need but couldn't resist
And some nice person has scraped my car it now has blue paint on it

Off to drop my daughter at her b/f's in a little while.....

seriously, I'd never heard it used that way until I started talking to you guys!

we use a more boring term... "want"

"I want a muffin" for example... or if we're feeling a bit more umm "proper" we'd say "I'd like a muffin" or to be a bit Red Neck "I could use a muffin 'bout now" or "How 'bout a muffin"
