how do I load songs from my pc to an mp3

as above...

can anyone give me idiot proof instructions for adding music to an mp3 from the pc?

Hm, can't find much about that! The number looks like an Argos number, but they don't seem to have AS on their website...

What happens when you plug it into your PC? Does it show up as a removable drive? (Mass Storage Device.) If so, just drag 'n' drop your files into it. I assume (Naughty I know!) you're using winblow$? With it plugged in does Media Player see it? You could try installing something like http://getsongbird.com to see if that recognises it and lets you manage it. It's similar to Amarok that I use for loading music onto my player, but Amarok isn't (Officially or easily...) available for Windows.

As a last resort, give it back to your son & go buy a new one. Have a look at item number 170338950798 on Ebay. If I were looking for an inexpensive player, I'd probably consider that! There are cheaper ones...

Probably easiest as it'll come with some sort of software CD & instructions...
