advice needed please

hi i went to the doctors yesterday and had my blood taken because ive lost weight and my vision is a little blurry, the receptionist called me today saying can i come in t ohave them redone on tuesday as my white blood cells were high , i asked her if there was anything wrong with that and she said the doctor will have to go through it with me on tuesday.

so know im really worried ive typed it into google and cancer kept comin up! which i dnt think it is as im fine in my sell.

does any one know what it may be i dnt want to be worried all weekend! thanks

I think that it could just mean you have an infection or even a virus.

try not too worry you will be fine i am sure xx

white blood cells will be raised if you have any slight infection. It can be anything from a dodgy tum to a cold so don't worry yourself.....If you can't stop bothering then call your doctor back and ask to speak to him.I have had this many times and it has never turned out to be abything serious so hopefully you will be the same.

yea white blood cells means you have an infection somewhere, stay off Google and go see your doc on Tuesday.

I agree with eveyone else, the most common reason is an infection.
