Bloomin cheek!

Every morning Reggie will bark at me until I get out of bed, he runs to the door, whines and generally makes a pest of himself til I give up and go downstairs... without fail, just as I'm reaching for the kettle I'll hear him clattering up the stairs, back into my room, where he promptly curls up and goes back to sleep on my bed.
Little b****r
And it's not to go out either as OH lets him out about an hour earlier when he leaves for work.

That is so funny. Maybe not for you but for me sitting here reading it. When he starts his barking at you could you not invite him up onto the bed with you then he could be on your bed and you could quite happily go back to sleep. That's what I do if Lana wakens me by nudging me and I'm hoping she's not needing out, I invite her onto my bed and she's fine. If she doesn't come up on the bed then I know she's needing out so I get up.

Why not get your own back on him. When you get up and go downstairs, shut your bedroom door, that way once you put the kettle on he can't go running back to your bed. Once he realises he can only get on your bed when your in it he might stop waking you up.
