Yeah, it does actually. He sent a nice email reminding me of a few summer road trips we had. They'd been talking about the best road trips and my name came up LOL May have something to do with a keg strapped in the back of a van

It doesn't close the roads for long though cause the snow plows work continually.

Didn't used to be like that though. In 1979 we lived in Weardale and it snowed so much my Dad didn't see his Motorbike for 2 months!

Still managed to get to work everyday though!

Yeah, don't know what's happened lately here. They just don't seem prepared for it anymore. All the lads that have trucks back at home have a plow on the front. They plow car parks, shopping centres etc as a part time job and make a fortune.

My kids would love it to snow like that here. It would mean that they wouldn't have to go to school
