Hi all, and thanks for the messages.
Still here, and back on IV fluids as my kidneys were just starting to show damage because of the high levels of antibiotics im on (2600mg 3 times a day)!
Having to have about 3 litres of fluid in the hope it will flush them.

Had an x-ray yesterday to see if things have cleared up, but despite asking the doctors and a nurse, and also my OH asking the nurse, no one has told me the results.

*Should* be going home Friday, but the doctor told me today, that the doctor on from tomorrow is very strict about when he lets people home - great

I'm annoyed that the nurse Mike asked tonight didn't get back to me
She said she would go check the computer and my notes and let me know, but she went home without saying a word........even if she'd have said she couldn't find anything I would have to wait until tomorrow would have been better than not knowing anything! grrrrrr

Oh it does make me cross when people don't do things they promise. Hope you have had some feedback today and have some idea of when you will be able to go home. xx

I managed to talk to one of the nice nurses today, who badgered the doctors for me!

My x-ray was a lot clearer than last time.
They have said I can def go home tomorrow, but still need to be on anti-biotics for a couple of weeks, and if I feel unwell over the weekend, to come straight back.
I'm back in on Tuesday anyway for my regular clinic checkup!

But at least I can go home tomorrow
