so your feeling is walk away?
ask her for the new address if she gives it freely you know shes ok, it would explain why they are going at 7 weeks its wouldn't be a easy task moving house with a litter even though it is bad timing which she should have considered at the start.
i would go and view and she what she was like etc also the condition of mum and pups.
if they look well cared for etc the chances are your pup will be fine they will be weaned by 7 weeks ready to go at 8.
we took on ben our old boxer at 6 weeks we never has a problem with him just you taking on the meals etc but you do that anyway at 8 weeks.

Personally I would look elsewhere Ella's Mum. The youngest I would take a pup is 52 days. They learn invaluable lessons in canine behaviour and good manners from their dam and siblings during those last couple of weeks. Responsible breeders usually arrange their lives around an expected litter, they don't place puppies too early for their own convenience.

Did the breeder say why her dogs are not KC registered? Has she had the parents health tested for the above conditions? Is she prepared to let you see the test results if she has had them done? Does she own the sire?

There are lots of SBT puppies available from excellent breeders who register and health test and who will provide KC insurance and back-up and advice for you throughout the life of the dog.

Walk away is my advice

ask to see paperwork.....all owners have some form of paperwork relating to their dogs.
booster card etc to see if mum is taken care of etc also ask the vet details and give them a ring to put your mind at rest.
but like sb has said there is lots of staffies out there to pick from if your gut feelings are right.

Ella's Mum - a vet check is not good enough. They need specialist tests and you need to see the results of those tests. Staffs can be subject to some very serious conditions which may lead to early death or to blindness and to much heartache for you.

You obviously have doubts, so go with your insticts/intuition on this one.

I think you are probably right, you need to see as SB says the necessary paperwork re health checks etc.,
It is also nice to have a breeder you can keep in touch with and who is responsible as we did with Zanta and is there for you no matter what.Your puppy is out there just not the right one yet.xx
