Stupid, stupid question....
I've got a really stupid question, try not to laugh too hard at me!
On a lot of threads I've noticed people talking about feeding their dogs chicken wings, carcasses, etc. I'm assuming these still contain the bones (?)
I'm kinda confused - I was always brought up to believe dogs and chicken bones were a potentially fatal mix! Am I being stupid? How're people managing to do this?

If your not sure with wings beat them up with a rolling pin to start with until they are used to them

The belly acids in your dog dissolves the calcium from the bones and makes them go rubbery(sp) when fed uncooked. Cooked bones have already had the calcium hardened so the acids don't digest the bones aswell.
Plus bones like chicken wings are swallowed with meat surrounding the bone and is less likely to case injury on the way in.
