I have been on telling you all about the Kingfisher this morning and congratulating Eileen's daughter on her essay.
Haven't told you yet I went out and drove for the first time in almost 6 weeks.

The wind is still very bad. I doubt whether I will get Peps out again
My daughter is so frightened. Her lounge window is full length with little between her and the sea. She says it sounds and feels like it is about to blow in
I hope it blows it's self out before it gets up to any of you.

Lynn, how wonderful to have spotted a kingfisher this morning - they have mostly disappeared for the moment from many rivers because of the flooding, and I suppose that safer ponds and lakes etc. are helping to keep them fed. Well done for driving again Good news indeed.

Nippy, that sounds really frightening especially for your daughter with that big window taking a battering. I do hope that the wind dies down enough for Pepsi to have a final wee later on.
