Ben's been in the wars

Evening all, Ben came in from his walk with OH limping.( Ben was doing the limping, lol. ) I, being me, started on OH "what have you been doing, Icant trust you etc etc etc."
Turns out that poor Ben collieded with his bessie mate a Cocker Spaniel. They were chasing a ball and the Cocker ran into Ben as he turned to catch the ball. It's his right hind leg.
He is limping and what worries me most is he has spent most of the evening on his bed (not like him at all, as some of you know)
Will see how he is in the morning but I think it is just a pulled muscle.
What I want to know is, is it ok to give him paracetamol. He weighs 22kg.
Thanks in advance.

Ben seems fine this morning. Overprotective mum alert

I was advised a quarter of a tablet for my PRT a few years ago but not sure if you aught to ring the vets and ask first to be on the safe side?

Hope its nothing serious.

Sorry to hear about Ben's crash.

I always think dogs are pretty tough and I let them sort themselves out.

If the dog is in in a lot of distress (serious knock) I'd be off to the emergecy vet - to be honest - bumps and bangs can wait in our house and I'd hold back on any medication for the vet.

Hope he's feeling better soon though !
