I'm so pleased!!

We had class tonight. Rupe was muzzled there and it was our Christmas party. He was a complete failure at musical bumps but did about 5 minutes in the sit stay competition and fetched a cooked sausage twice (due to his dog aggression we didn't risk him doing it off leash for the 3rd round so quit there). Our instructor sent us round to hand out dog biscuits and he stood quietly behind me rather than lunging at the other dogs. And he never bothered once about the other dogs running around

I know it's not really a big deal to most people but for us this is absolutely wonderful. Him being unable to actually bite gave me confidence and I'm sure that helped him stay calm.

That is great - after owning a dog-aggressive dog in the past, I know how much small steps forward like this mean. I am thrilled for you both
