Our Favourite Walk - Leigh Marshes

On a dry day we hop on the train to Leigh - the walk starts just behind the station.

It`s a path beside the creek, and very safe.

No roads, no livestock, very few people. We like that

When the tide is in the mob can splosh about in the creek

then we go into the Reserve

and do more sploshin about there

before heading for home.

And one last dip...

thanks for looking.

Lovely pictures! it was a nice day today.

I've got to ask -- how on earth do you manage three big dogs on a train? I remember taking my Lab on a train a couple of times and getting the dirtiest looks from some people.

I thought the same!

Louie and Sadie on a bus are a handful - dirty looks..

It looks a wonderful walk!

I look vague.
and the trains are pretty empty apart from rush hours here.

Great pics Claire.

It is a lovely plcae to walk we spent many a happy hour with the children there when we lived in Brentwood. It wasn't too far down the road for few hours out.

What a lovely quiet walk. Those dogs look as happy as can be, and I bet that you felt wonderful when you came home

Sounds like my kind of place - no roads, livestock and very few people! The pictures remind me of the Norfolk landscape.
