PLEASEEE Help me with scanner

Can someone please help.

OH is away and I have connected his scanner to my pc, all went well, I managed to download the driver software, all by myself!! LOL and my PC says new hardware found the device is ready to use!!

It is a canoscan Lide 90, amyway when I push the button on the front for photo (the options are copy photo pdf and email) A window opens that says

Canoscan Lide 90
CanoScan PHOTO button
Select the programme to launch for this action

then there are 2 icons - both say photoshop

Then there is OK or cancel.

I DON'T HAVE photoshop how can I change it so it will ley me use Serif Photoplus 6.0? I used to have photoshop, but it died when my PC died.

I have a mountain of photos I could be scanning but can't get it to work.

Anyone any ideas PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE

I am just impatient and want to be doing it now, am sure OH or Dad would knpow but neither are about!! LOL

Go to serif programme , click file top left and click import. It will say twain click that and it will give you an option of scanner or make of scanner.
follow the on screen instructions.

On the main screen when I open it there is a picture thing with ;lots of options

1 is import from TWAIN, should I click on that? I havn't clicked on file, that was just what came up when I opened Serif

got laptop elain copyed photos from pc as its no good lol but laptop wont read disk or open files thats not part of vista also have to read emails off sky wont come to normal email and wireless wont work think thats enough for now lol
