I have 6 all together.

The Rock - 5 yoa, fawn, Boxer. My ex and I got him from a petstore before I understood what byb's and puppymills were. He had Kennel Cough and Coccidia when we brought him home.

Shelby - almost 6, fawn, Boxer. Got her from rescue to be a buddy for Rock. She had all sorts of issues as she was kept in a crate for most of her first year and then abused if she was out of the crate. Took a few years for her to become 'normal'.

Mr. Spock - white, Boxer...not sure how old he is... I peg him for about 4 or 5. He's all scarred up and the vet says his ears were cut off with scissors when he was little. Got him as a stray, brought him into rescue and then adopted him.

Gibson - white Boxer...about 3. He's deaf and also blind in his left eye. He's a real good boy. He was a stray that the dog catcher caught down in southern Ohio. Fostered then adopted him.

Meatball - 10 months. Dad is a Black Lab/Australian Sheppard and mom is a Golden Retriever/Pitbull. Neighbors had the mom (intact) as the only dog of the house. Son had to move back home while in transition and brought his unaltered male. They kept them seperated while she was in heat but didn't realize that once the bleeding stopped she was still fertile. The result was 12 puppies and an appointment to get altered.

Dudley - 2 yoa Basset Hound. Was found running around town. Brought him home so he wouldn't get pts at the dog pound and then the owner decided she didn't really want him anymore anyway.

BTW - their bed (if you really mean THEIR bed ) is a crib mattress. I would think they're just as readily available there as here. I used them because they're coated in plastic instead of cloth and I can toss the sheets into the wash.

good idea for a bed I have a old cot mattress ,I think I'll bring it in from the shed for the dogs as I have been thinking about buying them another bed soon
