Blimey you've lost weight!

That's what was said to me this morning when my old next door neighbour popped round, having not seen me for quite some time.

Well I was chuffed I'll tell you because I haven't dared step on the scales since coming back from the UK convinced I hadn't lost even an ounce of the weight I put on over there eating my way across Britain. I was waiting until I 'felt thinner' to weigh myself.

As soon as he left I got the scales down and made sure they were set right and stepped on.

Haven't lost a bluddy ounce, not even half ounce - still about 5kg heavier than before I left for the UK 6 months ago.

Next time I see him I will suggest he needs to go to Specsavers!

Your lucky that someone has thought you've lost weight. Ive lost over 2 stone & no one has noticed Even OH Mind you when i'm out i'm that bundled up with layers I probably look loads fatter than I am

I have the opposite issue; cannot put or keep weight on, Used to be very overweight but since I came to Ireland....eat all the wrong things and not a scrap.

But I don't weigh myself any more as it can become an obsession,as it was in the old days of being obese.
