64 bit upgrade

well folks, I took the plunge and built a 64 bit system today.
just got it fired up, logged onto dogsey, and what do I get, dogs abuse from shona.
I'm still gettin slagged off about the KC reg thread. anyways here's the spec.

ASUS M2N-E SLI mother board
AMD 64 X2 dual core 6000+ cpu
Nvidia 8600GT 256mb GDDR3 graphics
4 GIG ADATA DDR2 800 CL5.0 ram

I used the tower I already had, and the HD's, but had to reinstall XP.

PS: got the ram for £29.30p per gig, now that's a steal.

to patch,
yes I've got Norton internet security suite for XP and vista with the MB package.
I used the CD as a frisbee, it landed right in the dustbin.

If they're getting clogged up, take the side off the tower, use the tube on your vacuum cleaner and suck all the dust out, also , go for a good quality fan (ball bearings) some of the cheaper ones are a waste of money.
