I do like !! Thank you SO MUCH !! One of the few pedigree dogs I would be interested in having are Mals, they really are gorgeous dogs. The CED is a lovely breed too, as are Sibes of course, but my heart really does lie with the Mally boys. It's their kick **** frilly drawers that I love so much, you just want to grab them and scrunch them in your teeth!! I'm not really a pervert, I just LOVE their back ends!!

well done!

other reasons to take on an older dog from a rescue

- if you take on a dog more than 8 years old from the Dogs Trust they pay the bet bills (well after you've paid the first £7.50 of each condition...)
- they tend to be calm and well behaved
- easy to keep, sleep a lot

We took on Heidi, a Collie X, at 12 and she was just the best thing that ever happened to us, we miss her so much now, but she was my first dog and has a special place in our hearts.

Tomas, we took on at 9 and he's now 13, he's a brilliant boy.

They're easy to keep , I honestly think it was not only give you endless pleasure, but could possibly be the biggest charity dontation to a dog charity you couldever make.

This such a lovely story and he so gorgeous

It made me laugh about him waking you up to lie in snow . Mishka our mal x husk would get a right strop on if we did not take her out in snow. She loves snow to. Has not woke me at 3 am though.

Totally agree! Our dog is a nine year old, we have only had her a few months, but love her beyond words. She was very stressed in the rescue centre, but is now at home wherever we are - hotel room, our living room, friend's houses, train, car - they are all one and the same to her as long as we are with her.
