Sam being incredibly useful taking Bill back to the barn:

.....rounding the chickens up to put back in their pen:

Greylag gosling, which was found wandering in front of our kennels (with a speckled sussex backend lol):

runner duckling:

Old english pheasant fowl, which are on the rare breeds list:

We are very lucky in that we can have what we have. Takes a lot of time and money, but would rather spend it on that than other luxuries.

Hi there.

I've got chooks too - 2 hybrids and 3 ever-broody brahmas - thinking about khaki campbells - but can i ask if it true that ducks make far more mess then chickens?

In my experience yes ducks are VERY messy and get poo everywhere!

Lovely photos esp the one with the goat, how many kids can go to school and say they took a kid for a walk
