We're having turkey. 7kg turkey between just the two of us. It'll do me several roast dinners (I love my roasts!), my hubby his Christmas dinner and then a load of sandwiches. Rupe will get some too of course. We both really like turkey but very rarely have it.

Free range, organic Turkey here - courtesy of the Estate owner for all employees It was dropped off earlier this evening and is huge! I had to juggle everything around in the fridge to fit it in!

I will make homemade broccoli soup for starters, turkey with roast and mash potatoes, roast carrot and parsnip, brussel sprouts, Yorkshire pud and gravy for main and then either strawberry trifle or bannofee pie for afters. Yum!

Normally it's chicken as none of us are fans of turkey, but this year it will be a nice beef roast.

Me and OH are veggies, so the meat will be a quorn roast for us. We are doing turkey for the rest for Christmas day, and beef for boxing day. Roast potatoes, sprouts, parsnips and carrots, and Christmas pudding for afters, with the rum sauce that only my mother knows how to make, so that bit is down to her.

That is all supposing it arrives. We are going to a holiday cottage tomorrow for a week, and have ordered everything to be delivered, so we may end up with a sandwich!

We will have the usual turkey, we all like it, it must be the way I cook it
We have pigs in blankets, yorkies, roast spuds, broccoli, carrots, sprouts, swede, parsnips and red cabbage, beautiful thick gravy and cranberry sauce.
For pudding it has got to be Christmas pud and Devonshire clotted cream or profiteroles and chocolate sauce.

Boxing day we will have cold turkey and ham with home made bubble and squeak, the best part of Christmas!
