Actually Ingrid all of our bookcases are Tas blackwood. I am sure you must be familiar with that most beautiful timber

Tassy blackwood You know SB I haven't seen it before!! Our natives were rimu and kauri - and tbh I've never set foot in Aus which is embarassing since we are only 3 hours apart.

It's lovely wood SB, kind of regal looking. Do they export

Mine are small, odd and of sentimental value,
The first two are 'ethnic' pottery items (made in pottery class )
1) Owls
2) A wall plaque
A picture I just love ..it is very large and cost a whole weeks wage,
A picture of the Inn I once had when first married,
This is a model of a Champion Mini Schnauzer dog 'Ross'..it went on the car bonnet,
A little silver Mini Schnauzer from Italy, a gift from an Italian man
