Well done Aileen (and well done Graeme for your support ). Hope it's not been too hot - this is what my daughter's been doing. Hope she's OK - mobile's not working!

"THE STATE STREET CALEDONIAN CHALLENGE GETS OFF TO A STORMING START!

1,400 walkers, 54 miles, 24 hours and £1 million for charity!

The State Street Caledonian Challenge 2005 kicked off this morning as more than 1,400 walkers headed off on their 54 mile trek from the Glen Nevis Forestry Track, Fort William today (Saturday 18th June).

The walkers’ endeavours support the work of the Scottish Community Foundation, which makes grants to local charities and community groups right across Scotland.

In teams of three-to-six people, walkers set out from Fort William to make the overnight trek through the spectacular scenery of the West Highland Way. Teams have really gotten into the spirit of things, with wacky team names and more than a few bizarre costumes!

Walkers are expected to finish in the early hours of Sunday morning at Ardlui where they will be able to receive massage therapy, a hot meal, medal and much-needed TLC."

So - well done all charity 'eventers' this very hot weekend!
There are a lot more good people than bad in this world
