Dusty is really poorly, Dogsey vibes needed please (update @ post 70)

Dusty was rushed into the emergency vets last night, I think it's something with her brain, she can't walk straight, she is going in circles and toppling over, her temp was unreadable and her heart was really low. This morning her temp is fine and her heart is still low but on the low end of normal, but she is still wobbly.

Please send dogsey vibes her way, and if anyone has any ideas what it could be please let me know, even the vets seem clueless but are runing more tests today as her regular bloods and liver/kidneys are fine. She's only bloody 5.

Thanks guys x

So sorry to read this Kel, I hope and pray poor little Dusty recovers xxx

Hopefully, as others have suggested, it will be an ear infection or similar.

The symptoms did remind me of my dear old Georgia, she had what were described as mini strokes, she would be disorientated and walk backwards or in circles, then she would vomit, because she felt dizzy I expect. Each time I rushed her to the vets thinking it was her time, but she kept on recovering and went on for another year or so before she finally had a huge episode and we had to send her to the bridge, but she was 10 years old by then.

I really hope if it has to be something serious then it is something like that as it didn't cause Georgia any problems other than for the 5 mins or so during and after the episodes when she felt sickly, there was no pain.

(((Hugs))) from me and Henry xxx

Lots of love and healing thoughts for Dusty.

Have they tested for Adisons? The bradycardia and hypothermia fit, as well as altered mentation. Thats her Sodium:Potassium Ratio?

Hope Dusty is feeling better soon and the vet gets to the bottom of this and it is something simple like an infection.

Sending healing vibes
