Poorly son

I took my 5 year old back to the doctor this afternoon - I took him Tuesday after he complained of a sore mouth, I looked and saw spots. He has had cold like symptoms for about 2 weeks now.

This morning there were spots on his hands, and a couple on a foot, and he is getting more and more grumpy. :smt096

He has been diagnosed with Hand Foot and Mouth Disease - makes him sound like a cow!! (It is not related to that in case anyone is wondering.)

All I can do for him is treat the symptoms, no medicine to get rid of it. Poor little chap, his mouth is ever so uncomfortable. :smt009

Great Easter Holiday eh?

I've had it ..its agony the blisters in your mouth are so sensitive to heat/cold/salt .....bland lukewarm food is good ..warm mashed spuds and the blisters on the hands are sensitive if you go outside into the cold as well ...the poor lad he has my sympathy ..hopefully it will go soon
