He died aged 89. Amazing astronomer. Such a loss.

A National Institution but he was a good age.

A sad loss although a suspect there will be a new star up there tonight.

I liked Patick Moore - I used to watch Stars at Night and still do when I catch it. He was such an interesting man and of course a cat lover.

May he Rest In Peace.
And now he is free to explore the galaxy and walk on stars and planets.
