Week 2 with no telly :(

STILL no TV, roof repairs going painfully slowly, so the scaffolding's still up completely blocking the satellite signal (we've got no terrestrial aerial on the roof - Sky only)... while I don't watch a lot of TV, I do miss it for the odd hour here and there.

Currently have my laptop hooked into the TV for at least iPlayer and SkyGo - but even my patience is wearing, hubby's at the levels of climbing the walls (I will if I have to endure one more DVD rented and chosen by him - I've not quite forgiven Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li)

I prefer reading to the TV anyway so it probably wouldn't bother me too much except for the very loud moaning that would come from my hubby who is permanently attached to the remote

Hope you get sorted out soon

I quite like it when I am away in the caravan leaving all of that behind, much more peaceful!

I do relish the quiet time that comes without the t.v. on, but only for short periods. I grew up in a large and loud family and I like the background noise
Hope your repairs go swiftly and you're soon back to watching programmes you approve of

Still no telly - apart from the laptop I've hooked up to the hdmi port. Hopefully the roof gets finished tomorrow and they get the scaffolding down the day after as it's really beginning to grate now (more hubby than me)

thank god for the internet and youtube and live streaming. would have missed all my favourite shows cos i never seem to be able to catch anything on the telly.

it does make me very sleepy though, when i just sit on the couch for 2 hours straight. i feel like such a lazy dog.
