It was a bit of a disappointment, but on the plus side, the utterly gorgeously fabulous Tom Hiddleston is in it.

The book is much better, its a kids book so dont expect too much from the film. I'd recommend a lot of michael morpurgo books to animal loving kids he creates an amazing bond between characters whether human or animal
