Not a good day

Not a good day was had today

On our way to Aberystwyth the clutch went in the car and had to have a relay home, the kids were whinging cos it was really hot then the bloomin AA made an almighty C***kup when putting our job out. They sent us a text saying someone will be with us at 10:25 (we first called them and asked for a relay at 9) then we get a phone call from their recovery driver, he was coming all the way from Pontypool to Builth Wells (over an hours drive away)
by this time we were all getting over heated. As hubby finishes speaking to the AA driver on the phone a recovery vehicle form a garage in Llandrindod Wells (7 miles from Builth) turns up to relay us home Of course he can't move us until he gets confirmation from the AA that he can as they have booked the job out to one of their own drivers. It all got very confusing but we eventually got home at about 11:30ish all hot and bothered.

In a way I'm glad we didn't go to the show it would have been way too hot for them and the kids

Yep came home had lunch and went to bed for hour

Sorry you did not make the show Staffy, it would have been terribly hot though ...and at least you are all home safe and sound

Well our puppies breeders live just down the road from us and we travelled up to kelso in Scotland about 11:00AM on the Friday and the were coming up on the nightime and they made it all the way to the lake district and the fan belt went on the car And they tried to fix it and in the end had to be towed all the way back to Staffordshire from the lakies.

Argh Nae, I'm sorry you had such a bad day

Not sure how much it's gonna cost but the really ironic thing is....hubby's a mechanic and he's been woking on a few cars this weekend.

There is another Companion Dog Show in Swansea in July so we are gonna go to that one instead
