Firstly the little girl who was mauled so very very sad for her and her family and I agree that the dog had to be stopped and if her life was at risk and the only way to save it was to shoot the dog ..........so be it.

But........................

This is a subject that I get really passionate about and I've sat here for 20 minutes thinking what to reply to the 2 articles without getting too angry or say something which would later be removed from this topic.

What they'd like to do to these dogs I would quite easily like to do to them. Some people are so ignorant and know nothing except getting on the band wagon with others and not researching in to what the hell there on about.

Any dog could be a killing machine in the wrong hands and in Ontario (off I go again) where they have been banned there are by no means top of the list for animal attacks this year.

I sometimes chat to a women who has a pitbull rescue and when I last spoke to her all her animals were going to be put to sleep, including her own family pets, which is a shame as she had so much back up to support her cause but noone would listen to her.

I'm off now to track her down to get an update.

How very sad and uneducated these pople are.

This makes me really angry as I have a dobermann(one of the devil dogs listed) and there is more chance of being licked to death than anything else. When my 3yr old is sick she gets up and rather than come into our bed she will drag her duvet in and get into Abbys bed.
