Wish the old man luck!!

Spare a though for my OH tomorrow morning if you would. He is doing the Reliability Trial Run - 75 miles on a bicycle and accompanying him are two friends that have never done it before (Phil hasn't done it for 8 years)

Charlie and I will be cheering (well, laughing!!) them on, on the home stretch

I'm sure he'll be OK as far as the saddle soreness is concerned, he has alot of 'natural padding' (only kidding )

Leo - Wish your young man all the best for his run tomorrow - and don't you get too comfy 'keeping warm'

good luck 75 miles. bit of advice, tell him to smear vasaline on his *bits n bobs* before he sets out,it will help stop any soreness. my ex was a long distance rider and thats what he did. and give him loads of spagtie tonight, carbohydrates, and banans.

Will do, thanks, and there's porridge in the morning too When they were younger - Phil and his brother used to compete - Their father made 'sweet rice pudding cakes' to munch on the way for the energy boost but nowadays, he stores his energy round his middle

Do I get to apply the Vaseline?
