If your dog is on lead and another offlead dog comes over and jumps at your on lead dog then she is at fault, and to let it do exactly the same thing again and complain about vets bills is cheeky to say the least! I regret to say Keshi has no manners and goes steaming over to dogs,chases them to play,scares the life out of them and ignores me totally, so she will stay onlead until she finds her manners!

Although there is obviously a huge size difference, that is what we have done with Scout, she has remained on lead and only been allowed off in the last week or so, now her manners have improved. Even then we are leaving a 6ft length of pvc line trailing from her collar when she gets to go play (just in case). Your Keshi is still apup (albeit a big one) so she can surely be allowed a certain lee way.
