Morning Nippy, wet and dull here. Computer so slow this morning that I had to turn it off and start again. I blame it on the rain. Hope you are ok and not to blown away. Have a good time shopping. I have mine delivered, hate shopping. Hope everyone else is ok. ttfn.

Same here with the weather,really stormy all night and horrible now too.Off to the vet at 10, wee Izzy( tortoise) is dragging her back leg Can't see anything in under it or any visible damage,best to have it checked.

Morning Nippy and all who follow. Glad to say the house is still standing. I made up a thermos flask in case we lost electric, the Christmas Eve of 2013 we lost power for 8 hours and our friends brought a generator round. It took them over an hour to do 8 miles because of all the trees down.

Must get myself going. OH been up all night as his foot hurts, the GP doesn't know what's going on with it and gawd help one of the dogs if they brush past it!

Good morning everyone. Bad night - weather wise but this morning is sunny, albeit cold, and dry with no wind to speak of. Perhaps it's changing - but I doubt it. Do hope Izzy is OK, perhaps if the worst scenario materialises you could have a caster on that corner!lol! Seriously though - hope she's alright. I'm shortly to be abandoned for the day, the Mem is having a trip into Manchester and having lunch with an old friend (who I can't stand) Fortunately my attendance is not required. They are giving the new Hilton Hotel in the Beetham Tower Skyscraper a twirl for lunch, followed by SHOPPING! The word that strikes fear into the staunchest of wallets (particularly mine!) Do hope that it rains later as this will doubtless curtail the exercise. I'm just enjoying a late breakfast and then as my livestock duties are completed, will take off over the moor with the dogs, as the weather is reasonable. Have a good day all, bye for now.

Good Morning all, glad we all appear to have survived the night... i am knackered, the wind was awful and due to my noisy neighbours my bed has to go under the window so a dreadful nights sleep for me

Weather was awful during the night but on checking this morning the house is still standing as are the fences. It stopped raining about and hour ago so out Teazle and I went, she may get wet underneath but at least her head stays dry Only housework planned for today.
