Oh God, I hope everyone is ok. June, for a lot of work on your car you seem happy, but at least you will have a car you know when it is up to spec. My little Ford escort l.6 ghia is like that. I bought her from my cousin, who sadly died last year but he had kept her well maintained and since I have had all the rubber bits replaced and fuel lines etc and she is doing well. I know I only do about 700 miles a year but would be sad without her. If you get a reliable car it is worth keeping and getting the odd jobs done!

Moyra I would rather not need the work doing, but the alternative could be fatal couldn't it, I knew every single little thing would be picked up going to that garage, like I say mixed blessings, you know you are safe, but know its going to cost to be safe. I used to have the Volvo 440 (with the pop up headlights) and they always did it, youngest son blew the top half of the engine up once and they had it rebuilt and back on the road in a couple of days.

Yes, that is true about the labours that God meters out, it is always within what you are able to carry even if it seems heavy at the time. When you come through it leaves you stronger.

No he knows you have been tested and that you have a strong back even given its weaknesses he knows you will come through. And besides you have lots of lovely friends like Eileen, me and Lord Gord and others to see you through!

Good evening

Good news on the facilities then June and hopefully the insurers will cough up for the electrics to be checked and rectified if needed after all it took hours to get anyone to see the problem.

Hope you are feeling better today Moyra.

Eileen lol at your tile expedition still once sorted you can sit back and admire the new bathroom in luxury

Hope Griff is ok

Finished early at my sons and left him painting the bedroom radiator and door and repainting the shelves in the hall. Put another coat of the emulsion on the hall walls but this time with a roller and not a paint pad and fingers crossed it seems to have covered it well. Then painted the ceiling in the bedroom, put mirror back on wall in hall and said bye until Friday It was nice to get home whilst light and to get Teazle out for her evening walk in the daylight, after all it was hardly light this morning! Cooked dinner and eaten and have now stripped son's bed and all in the machine. Thats it for me today will wait until tomorrow to do the rest of the washing etc.

Have a good evening all
