Good morning all see I am first on parade again

Dull and drizzling here but Teazle walked and now waiting for son to emerge from his pit, have breakfast and then away for another day of painting. Will see how far we get today as I would really like Wednesday and Thursday at home as I need to do food shopping and also have a docs appointment on Thursday

Hope the girls are now well and truly back to their old selves June.

Today is my socialising day My SiL and friend visits and we have coffee and a good old natter.

Good morning everyone, still struggling here with my chest and coughing. Going to phone the doc again to see what I can try next. Maybe a repeat of the linctus and ventolin.

Good morning Sue, Nippy and Moyra. I tought I would leave it to someone else today although I was up early doors as they say. Who are they? Anyway done two lots of washing, hoovered and dusted and walked the Tyto. Smug eh!! Hope your chest improves today Moyra. Nippy my socialisng day is Thursday. Sue, I wish I had someone like you to do some decorating. You are a marvel. Hope he appreciates what you are doing. Off now to do last minute bits before I settle down and watch Foyles War from last night. Have a good day all and those to follow.

Liam rang on his way to work, so everything nearly back to normal as Lauryn not back at school till tomorrow
Back on the diet today, ate everything I wanted since before Christmas so need to get it sorted before I go on my hols.
Nippy hope you enjoy your socialising, I out in the morning and Wednesday morning too.
Right off to get stuff done

Not a good day for me here today. Toilet didn't flush this morning, lifted the lid off and no water in it thought at first the water was off, ran tap and it was on Downstairs there is a pool of water on the kitchen floor, rang emergency call out from the insurance, realised then that the water was coming from under the bath and running down the ceiling onto the floor and is dripping on the worktops and down the wall by the kitchen window. Then had a conversation with some jerk who insisted it was my waste pipe leaking - therefore I'm not covered - pointed out that no water in the toilet indicated a leak They have phoned me now and said no one can come out till after 2pm, much nicer guy though. I said to him I have no water, no heating and no toilet, plus I have no car to drive to Asda to use their toilet because my car is in for service....he is ringing me back. Girls seem fine this morning, although it was a bit of a speedy visit from me as I'm trying to sort the burst in the bathroom that is coming through into the kitchen!!!!!

Morning all, hope everyone is well, i have inherited my dads lurgy, supposed to be first night at training tonight with both dogs but not sure if i will make it

Remembered I can flush toilet with a bucket of water and there is still water in the hot tank so have done that. Griff is there anything you can take at all, not surprised that you've caught it really, your immune system must be pretty low as it is and you are under the same roof as your dad. Hope you're better soon

June, if it is not one after the other with you 2015 has not started off well for you. Do hope you get it sorted and the girls are all ok now.

just been onto them to chase them up and they are pushing it up to the top and someone will ring me ASAP - but that could be ages yet. Just spoken to the people who did my roof in the summer and they can come and do the ceiling for me if the worst comes to the worse, but they are pulled out today as well, which I understand, first full day back at work since before Christmas and hundreds of people like me. Like I said to the girl at the Emergency Call Out, I wouldn't be on your back if I wasn't concerned my ceiling may fall in. Waters just dripping now because turned the water off, but that leaves me without any water at all.
