I think i'm in for a sleepless night, Suggestions needed! (pup's 1st night alone)

Hello All

Well, basically Diesel who is now 16 weeks old sleeps in the room with me usually just sprawled out on the floor, however, he is now big enough to jump up on the bed.

Curl up at the bottom? NO!!! Sit on my head and wash me!!! (not pleasant let me tell you), So tonight will be his first night banned!!! Kitchen and passage permitted.

I know i am in for a long night, but any suggestions to make it any easier would be gratefully received.

Thank you

Jules xxx

Sorry no good advice just want to wish you luck ..

You could have a few glasses of wine and block your ears with cotton wool or you could sleep on the sofa and let him have the bed ?!?!?!?!
Seriously I hope someone with some useful advice will come along soon !

The only advice i can give is, if you are dead set on making him sleep in the kitchen and he starts howling tonight, under no circumstances go downstairs

Best of luck

I agree with Sara, also you could try leaving a radio or even the TV on, sometimes helps.

I agree with Sara as well, on no account go downstairs.

I still remember my first night with the flatcoat, he cried for 6 hours I'm not saying yours will, but he might even suprise you and not make a sound ! (Wishful thinking perhaps ?! )

Good luck !

Well i am amazed, he has a crate which was moved to the kitchen a while ago (he has never really used it) in fact my cats sleep in it, he followed me to the kitchen, Jess (1 of the cats) asleep in crate, he walked straight in the crate past Jess and laid down, haven't heard a peep!!!

Hope i haven't spoken too soon

Will let you all know in the morning lol
