Yes, but there is always someone ready to throw the first punch.

Waste of a young life , it's tragic , who ever they are.

My sympathy go to her parents, to lose a child is not something anyone should have to deal with.

It is so sad that this young girl could not find happiness in life despite her talent and success. I hope she is now at peace.

Someone told me her dad found out by seeing the news. I really hope that isn't true, what an awful way to find out. I couldn't stand Amy Winehouse but I really feel for her family.

I think regardless of what people think of her and her lifestyle you still have to remember that she had friends and family who loved her dearly despite her troubles and my thoughts are with those people this evening.

RIP Amy, you were a music legend and you're music will always remain in my playlist.
Very well said. Very sad that the drugs and drink took a hold of her. Having grown up with members of family (including my own mother) addicted, and died from alcohol and/or drugs, it can be incredibly painful to sit back and watch someone go down hill and, despite helping in various forms watch them not be able to recify the decisions they made due to their past always playing on their mind and affecting their day to day lives

My thoughts are with all her friends and family, someone of that age should not die before their parents, or before they have lived life.

R.I.P Amy Winehouse

I wasn't particularly saddened or surprised at all, and I'm still not.

Far too many "real" people struggling that actually deserve my sympathy and positive vibes than AW.
