would ALL of you like to come to my house and finish my extension please in time for little Luca's arrival as u r all so organised !!

would love to post piccies of my kitchen as I do love it but its covered in a fine film of dust at the moment due to the building work !!!!

very nice by the way - for all piccies of new and soon to be new kitchens !!

Organised? ...well maybe, but heavy lifting has never been my thing! What do you need doing? I'll send my OH round for the weekend. As long as you feed him meat and cakes (separately of course) he'll do anything!!!

what do I need doing ???

well the list is as follows:
wind and watertight
plaster 3 rooms
install ramsay ladder to loft
build balcony and outer staircase
install 2 sets of french doors, garage door, front door and 2 windows.
lay floor tiles downstairs, underfloor heating upstairs and solid wood floor
install bathroom ensuite & dressing room

should I go on - your probably having a heart attack and dont see meat and cakes doing that !!!! LOL

Don't count on it, you've never come across a metabolism like it! When he was doing our patio I made him 2 humungous cakes in two weeks, and he still lost about a stone in weight

Lol! you two I remember when my poor Dave was digging out a very ancient, very tall thick hedge and a rockery, when sweltering summer's day, and he was working away, digging it all out, roots an all, as I watched from the french doors! Well, I did feel sorry for him!! Anyway, he had to come in for a lie down, his face was like beetroot, he had a really funny turn, I almost called an abulance! Poor chap, I think I overdid it with him that day!! Now I get a nice young man in who owns a digger to do all that sort of stuff.

Dani, Dave has done nearly all on your list!! Took 3 years of week-ends and holidays, but he got there in the end! Even the new loft ladder is installed
