shih-tzu puppy problems

Hi, I have a new shih-tzu puppy. Freddie is 12wks old. He has settled in quite well but tends to bite quite a lot. He does not like being groomed or bathed and howls and whines and tries to bite me when I try to groom him.

Any advice would be appreciated?

Thanx

this link explains it very well and what to do:

How are you bathing and grooming him, are you taking it in slow easy steps while rewarding him with treats, or going straight for it?
it sounds like it could be scaring him?

Maybe I am going too fast with the bathing. I have been giving him treats now while grooming and he has greatly improved. Thanks for the link on puppy mouth, very helpful.
