I am ill

I am ill, and have had to phone in sick at work.
Noty taken any time off since i've been there.

Been getting a sore throat the past few days, but woke up today and it's killing me, and my ears hurt too
The only thing is, I can't take medication very well, as I have a fear of choking (It comes from when I was ill, I had to take 22 tablets a day, and used to choke on them as they were so big).
So i'm just wrapping up warm (In this weather!), and drinking hot drinks!

I'm exactly the same as you Hevvur, head pounding, sore throat, ear ache, constant runny nose and today we have a houseful coming for a BBQ, I really don't feel up to it, infact I'd rather go back to bed and stay there for the rest of the weekend.

I wish I could go back to bed, but doubt I would sleep

Sorry to hear you're both ill Paracetamol/cold drinks and rest.....I'd even put off the BBQ crazycockers, you need to look after yourself!
