Reasons for Fudge`s smell changing?

Over the last couple of weeks Fudge has developed a more musty/doggy smell. It went away for a while when she was bathed last week.

Her stools are still hard and she is not scooting or licking anywhere more than normal. She is speyed. She will be three in November.

Any ideas anyone? It is getting a bit pongy

What's her skin like? Is it flakey or is there any scurf or anything like that?

Bryan has been a bit stinky the past week, but I just put it down to getting wet and going though mud and stuff.

Fungal infection comes to mind but think you would be able to find areas of moist or reddened skin but could be between the toes or in the ears.
