What a pain!

Well start of the day, out for a walk with Prue, my youngest golden retriever, she is a tad overexcitable from when she has her lead on( I have tried many ways to sort this but I just accept she is as she is!).....anyway just by the front door & she starts to whine, so a firm "No" & a tug on lead.....but my hand slipped & went up the lead straight in my face Fat lip & sore cheek

Yes I did continue the walk

Ouch, poor you!! - I took our 6 month old lab x ESS out this morning, double lead, one clip on his collar and one on his harness - he's a puller and I was doing a very fast penguin walk this morning

I must apologise because that did make me laugh
Hope your fat lip and sore cheek get better soon.

LOL - sorry shouldn't laugh....
I have done similar though, like lying on the floor playing tug with Alfie when he suddenly lets go and my arm recoils at me

Owwwwwies! Having done similar things myself I can entirely sympathise with you.

You don't half feel daft after though, especially if the results are visible and you are having to explain....
