Want to adopt a small puppy

Hello,

I am Caroline I live in the East Midlands, I am looking to adopt a small dog, ideally from being a puppy so that I can train it. I am ideally wanting a pug or similar sized dog.
Can anyone help?

Hi Caroline im also in the East midlands and foster dogs for rescue, so its lovely to hear someone that wants a rescue. Please take a look at the many tears website, their are lots of puppies there.
Please alos take a look at east midlands dog rescue website, they dont have any pups currently but generally do if you can wait.
I would say though you dont have to have a puppy to train, adult dogs are just as happy to be trained and i have a Beagle for Many tears at the moment, who would do anything for food

This is Many Tears, we are fostering Brandy in Leicester, but their are dogs all over the country:

and East midlands is:

Take a look at Bod and Lulu we met them on Sunday and they are scruptious, Sandy who runs it also just took in two exbreeding king charles who are adorable, but not on the website yet.

Good luck, rescue dogs are very special

Pug Rescue has a waiting list and puppies don`t feature on it at all - especially with all the daft crosses about now. Have you contacted your local Dogs Trust or Rescue?

I have emailed a few of the centres, I have registered with Pug Rescue, but the waiting list is very long.
I will keep looking.
Thanks

Might also be worth trying with the dog rescue pages, both in rescues and private rehomings:
