All Boxer owners.......

To all of our experienced Boxer owners , I have a qeustion? is there such a thing as a" Black Boxer" saw an advert for Black Boxer pups , on a US web site, it says they are pure bred , but i dont think they are......

I have seen this sort of thing before, and always thought they are x breeds, they look like Dogo Argentines to me, but I would like some opinions,

No such thing as a black Boxer There are 'reverse' brindles where the stripes are so close together that the dog appears to be black, but in good light you can see the red. True black would indicate a 'stranger' lurking somewhere in the pedigree

Great shadow Boxer, that is just what I thought, I know you can get reverse, but these look like Boxer pups, but not quite

you don't see many reverse though do you? if it was pure black it would be very fishy.

Probably not and it is of no matter so long as they love their dogs

found a good pic of Finn's reverse brindle patches looking at Finn from a distance it looks like his patches are black but when close up you can see the brindle.
