What breed
How long have yo had her
How long has this been going on
Have you seen the vet
Have you discussed idiopathic epilepsy, heart problems, EIC (exercise induced collapse)syncope etc?

I really think you should take your dog to the vet. It's difficult to second-guess what could be wrong, so I'll pass.

Good luck......

Hello Mary and welcome to Dogsey .

I would take your little dog to the vets ASAP.
There could be a number if reasons this is happening.
My elderly Mini Amy had a heart murmur caused by age related heart failure , she began having 'episodes' when she fell over very similar to your description above.
I guessed it might related to her heart condition and the vet confirmed this and prescribed a medication called an ACE inhibitor (Ramipril) which improved her cardiovascular function and the episodes stopped. Amy lived for another 5 years to the age 16.

I would be very concerned if it was my dog and would suspect heart problems. Hope you get her sorted and she will be ok.x
