Henry at The Midland English Setter Championship Show

My little lad did me proud again, the entries weren't particularly high, but I like to think the quality was good.

Anyway, in Special Yearling Hen got a 2nd place, and the judge made a point of coming over to me when he finished the critique to say that he had been nitpicking between 1st and 2nd, he just preferred the expression on the dog that won the class. he then said that Henry was new to him, he hadn't seen him before but he would be watching him with interest in the future...wasn't that nice?

Henry then went on to win 1st places in Undergraduate and Graduate

Must mention Thalice...Maud won Puppy Dog and then Best Puppy Dog with Othello, not sure how she did after that as we had to come away.

We won £5 prize money , two trophies to bring home for the year, and two big bags of Royal Canin dog food, aswell as our rosettes

My boy is currently resting on the sofa...he's pooped
