why dont dogs chew thing??????

Well i am shattered today -
went to mums yesterday for lunch, china had a few titbits, bit of salad, bit of quiche etc.. only a mouthful..

Anyway

5.25 this morning,
she is licking her lips, i wake up as this is a sure sign she is about to hurl.....

any way she is sick twice, only small bits of yellow froth...

she gives me the mummy im not well look...

so she comes onto the bed to cuddle....

7.30.....she is sick again...

she looks all guilty looking...

so i clean it up and notice a lump of some thing - PINEAPPLE CORE!!!!

how the hell she managed to get that at my mums i have no idea!!!

but she obviously couldnt digest it and it was bothering her!!!

if they are going to rob food they could at least chew it!!

so she is at home alone today for a few hours thought it best to leave her at home as work is still too cold for her and she wouldnt settle aswell...

Poor girl gave me the im sooo ill look! then a few minutes later ate her breakfast!

Dogs can`t chew! Their jaws don`t move like that. Their teeth are designed to crush or cut, not to grind (now there`s something to ruminate on) They gobble because norty mummy or other dogs will get it first if they don`t.

Awww...bless her. Thankfully she got rid of what was bothering her. They certainly like to frighten us don't they? Hope she's feeling better now.
