A walk from home in pictures

On another forum we are showing our local dog walk in photos. I thought it was a great idea for a thread, so here is mine.

Please feel free to add your own thread of your local dog walk

Starting out ...

The reservoir to the right ...

Straight ahead ...

The landowner's house in the distance ...

Rabbiting

Heading up the hill

The big house again and highland cows

Halfway up

Reached the top

All four at the top

View to the right on the way down

Nearly home again

Thanks guys - but it isn't a competition I think it is really interesting to see other areas of the country and where people walk their dogs.

Lovely photos Moobli

Here's mine (though I think you've seen all these photos before).

I'm not that far away from Moobli though I live at the bottom of the hills rather than half way up them

out of my house, cross the road, onto the golf course.

through the trees

and down to the river for a quick swim and to watch the sand martins in the summer

Along the far bank in this photo..

to the old railway bridge (night time photo, not a tunnel )

continuing along by the river

or if there is no-one playing golf, onto the course

up as far as the old ruin

and then head for home

either along the golf course

or down the Railway track

passing the hotel on the way

then back down the 17th fairway (or back round by the river when there are golfers playing) to home

I am in the Lammermuir Hills, which are the hills in between Berwick and Edinburgh.

Great pics from both Kirsty and Fiona,

I'm a bit jealous now. We have some farmers fields to walk round up the top from here, no where near as nice as your places though. Plus Toby is not so keen as there's clay pidgeon shooting and scrambling motor bikes!!!

We normally just round the streets on a evening, but weekend we always get to the beach or proper countryside
