Wildlife Photography

We've just recently been on honeymoon to the Maldives and as I can't swim and snorkelling/diving was out of the question for me I set my sights on some wildlife photography and here's the results:

Small crab that I nearly stood on one night:

Heron's on the beach:

Fruit Bats! These creatures were amazing and incredibly inquisitive, they would look into the camera almost every time I was lucky enough to catch glimpse on one in a tree:

This poor bird has obviously got his head stuck in a bottle or something at some point:

We took a sunset cruise and were lucky enough to see the dolphins:

And lastly these are my favourite shots, I caught glimpse of this fella in a tree behind my sun lounger one day and he seemed happy to pose for my shots!:

Thanks for looking!

Thanks guys. The fruit bats are really fantastic creatures and have such expressive faces. They strangely look quite cuddly as well!

Their only downside is the noise they make first thing in the morning!!

Lovely photo's and great to look back on as a keepsake of your honeymoon - so much better than endless shots of scenery
