My first attempt at 3D needle felting

Meet Isiah the incredible 4 gram bear. I was a little impatient and instead of waiting until I went into town to get some beads for his eyes, I embroidered them in and one's slightly higher than the other. He's thread jointed so his limbs and head move. I might try a dog next.

Needle felting is incredibly therapeutic and stress relieving as you basically stab at wool with a barbed needle until something springs to life. It's all fun and games until you stab your finger accidentally.

Thanks! It's great fun and I'd heartily recommend giving it a go. I bought the kit about 3 years ago to do a present for my mum (a mother's day card with a portrait of the TM done mostly with his own fur) and didn't touch it after that. Hang on and I'll see if I can root a photo of it out.

It looks a bit better in real life. I should have really practised rather than doing it on the last minute and rushing it.
